Jeanne D’Arc (Soucy) Berube, 64, of Bristol, wife of Richard J. Berube, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Hartford Hospital. Jeanne was born in St. Basile, New Brunswick, Canada, Oct. 29, 1944, and was a daughter of the late Benoit and Delila (Bois) Soucy. She haD resided in Bristol since 1965 and before retiring, she was employed at Hartford Insurance, Southington. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol. In addition to her loving husband, Jeanne D’Arc is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Maurice and Suzanne Berube of Burlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard Brown of Bristol; five brothers, Marcel, Luc, Francois, Jean Louis and Michele Soucy, all of Canada; five sisters, Jocelyne Johnson, Nicole Caissie, Jacinthe Levesque, Lucy Gagnon and Denise Soucy, all of Canada; four grandchildren, Danielle and Grant Berube and Austin and Dylan Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
