Roy C. Bredefeld, 53, of Rocky Hill passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Sabine Bredefeld. He was a retired police detective with the City of Bristol. It was through the police department that he dedicated his life to helping many families. Besides his wife, Sabine, he leaves behind two daughters, Michelle Bredefeld and Kristina Klezun and her husband, Jeff; a sister and brother-in-law, Ilona and Paul; two grandchildren, Nicky and Luke Klezuo; and a niece and nephew, Carrie and Brett. He also leaves behind many loving friends, who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Make-A-Wish Foundation, 925 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
