ASHLEY, Pearl Perreault

Pearl Perreault Ashley, 86, of West Lebanon, N.H., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Caribou, Maine, a daughter of Didier and Marie Jane (Pellitier) Perreault. Mrs. Ashley was married to Ernest Ashley in 1949. She lived most of her life in Bristol and moved to New Hampshire 20 years ago. Before the onset of Alzheimer’s, Pearl relished her life as a wife and homemaker. She was and avid reader, baker and sewer. Pearl’s gentle manner endeared her to everyone in her life. Mrs. Ashley was predeceased by her husband; three brothers, Patrick, Roy and Roger Perreault; two sisters, Loretta and Pauline. She is survived by her loving sister, Francis P. Mailhot and beloved by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Ashley’s name to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire, P.O. Box 976, White River Junction, Vermont 05001-0976. Ricker Funeral Homes and Crematory of Lebanon and Enfield assisted with arrangements.
