MICHAUD, Rosaire

Rosaire Michaud, 75, of Bristol passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Bristol Hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Ft. Kent, Maine, son of the late Ludger and Elizabeth (Pellette) Michaud. He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia (Caron) Michaud; his son, Thomas Michaud of Fort McCoy, Fla.; his two daughters, Judith McCormick of Live Oak, Fla., and Lorrie Ann Simpson of Bristol; his brother, Hampy of Saco, Maine; his three sisters, Bernandine of Gardner, Maine and Roland and Annette, both of Fort Kent, Maine; his seven grandchildren, Angela, Sarah, Andy, Susan, Beth, Melissa and Scott; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 148 Eastern Blvd., 1st Floor Glastonbury, CT 06033.
