Ann (Monzillo) Pellegrini, 88, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at H.C.C New Britain General. She was the wife of the late Ferdinand A. Pellegrini. Born July 14, 192, in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Angelina (Piccariello) Monzillo. She loved to cook for her family. Ann loved the beach and going to Lenny and Joe’s Fish Tale and she enjoyed her time at the casino. She is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Selvaggi of Southington and Nancy Madore and her husband, Michael, of Terryville; her cherished grandchildren, Frank Winters and his wife, Renee, Nancy Coffin, Melissa Ann Madore and Michael J. Madore; two great-grandchildren, Sidney Elizabeth and Avery Carol Winters; a sister, Molly Castiola of Plainville; many nieces and nephews including, Alfred Pellegrini; and a special friend, Beverly Kratzke. The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain.
