CHOQUETTE, Henrietta J. (Markowski)

Henrietta J. (Markowski) Choquette, 88, of Bristol, beloved wife of William C. Choquette, Sr., died unexpectedly on Sunday (December 7, 2008) at Bristol Hospital. Henrietta was born in Moodus, on March 27, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Jacob and Pauline (Tabor) Markowski. She was raised in Middletown graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, and has lived in Bristol for over 60 years. She was a member of St. Matthew Church, Forestville. She was a loving mom and took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a zest for life and a sense of humor that was contagious to all. In addition to her husband, Henrietta is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William C. Choquette Jr. and Kathleen Choquette of Jensen Beach, FL and James and Doreen Choquette of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy C. Domijan Brindle and Gerald E. Brindle of Kennebunkport, ME; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, Forestville, by her grandson, the Rev. David P. Choquette. Burial will follow in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown.
