CISTULLI, Peter J.

Peter J. Cistulli, 86, of Bristol, beloved husband of Angelina (Venditti) Cistulli, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Countryside Manor Health Care Center. He was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Bristol, son of the late Pasquale Cistulli and Santina (Pagliarulo) Fiorito. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he had served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Peter was employed at Fafnir Bearing for 23 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Gregory Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Bristol. Besides his wife, Angelina, he is survived by his two sons, Patrick J. Cistulli Sr. of Bristol and Mark J. Cistulli of Frankfort, Ill.; his daughter, Karen A. Cistulli of Bristol; his grandson, Patrick J. Cistulli Jr. of Plainville; his brother, Philip John Cistulli of Weston, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Doris Duperre and Jennie Mola. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, 10:30 a.m. from O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Gregory Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
