DAIGLE, Karen

Karen Daigle, 50, of Unionville passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family Monday, Dec. 1, 2008. Karen is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Daigle and her beloved son, Kurt Daigle. Karen was born Sept. 29, 1958, in Bristol, daughter of Mary (Barcekowski) Pajonas and the late Joseph G. Pajonas. She is also survived by her siblings Susan Tice, Thomas L. Pajonas, Gary Pajonas and Shirley Paulette; two loving aunts, Irene and Louise Barcekowski; and several cherished nieces and nephews. Karen was a parishioner of St. Gregory Church, where she also served as a CCD instructor. Karen was employed at Combustion Engineering for 20 years until she devoted her fulltime attention to raising her family. She recently worked part time for the Farmington Public School System at West District School. Karen’s kindness, smile and happy heart will long be remembered. The funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at 10 a.m. from O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St Gregory Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
