LUISI, James "Jimmy" T.

James “Jimmy” T. Luisi, 48, of 103 Debra Lane, Bristol, passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Bristol Hospital. Jimmy was born in Bristol, May 28, 1960, the son of Geraldine M. (Rentschler) Luisi and the late Thomas F. Luisi. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he attended the Bristol school system. He worked for Grosite Industries for 20 years and Connecticut Spring and Stamping in Farmington for the past eight years. He was a member of St. Gregory Church. He enjoyed helping his friends out or anyone for the matter, anytime, day or night, he was always there. He enjoyed working out side and loved NASCAR and UConn women’s basketball. He will be greatly missed. “Just keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.” Besides his mother of Bristol, he is survived by a brother, John T. Luisi and his wife, Cathy, of Bristol; a sister, Laurie Kolosky and her husband, Peter, of Winsted; two nieces, Sydney and Hayley; plus four godchildren, Katelyn Dobrowolski, Katlyn Drost, Christopher Rindfleisch and Hayley Kolosky; and many friends. Funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at 9 a.m. from the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Gregory Church for A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
