TICHANSKI, Angela "Babe" (Coletto)

Angela “Babe” (Coletto) Tichanski, 82, of Bristol, widow of Alex Tichanski, died on Thursday (December 25, 2008) at St Francis Hospital, Hartford. Babe was born on January 12, 1926 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Mauro and Angela (Scaranno) Coletto. She was a lifelong Bristol resident and had worked at Wallace Barnes and Raphael’s Department Store in Bristol. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Bristol. Babe leaves her son, Atty. David M. Tichanski of Hampton, VA; and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (December 30, 2008) at 9 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Monday between 5 and 8 PM.
