LINNELL, John "Jack"

John “Jack” Linnell, 77, of Bristol, husband of Margaret (Flanagan) Linnell, died Wednesday, Dec, 5, 2008, at his home. Jack was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Bristol. He was the son of the late Raymond and Caroline (Rohe) Linnell and had been a resident of Pequabuck most of his life moving to Bristol three years ago. Before his retirement he was employed by Superior Electric Co. of Bristol for 41 years. Jack was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville and member of the Bristol Polish Club. Besides his wife, Jack leaves his two stepdaughters, Susan Cerniglia of Bristol and Carol Harvey and her husband, Donald, of Mystic; his sister-in-law, Maude Linnell of Pequabuck; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew, Carol Linnell, Tom Linnell and Sharon Apt, all of Pequabuck. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, 9:30 a.m. from Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville to the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Terryville.
