ROY, Suzanne Marie (Cloutier)

Suzanne Marie (Cloutier) Roy, 63, of Bristol, wife of Joseph C. Roy, died Friday November 28, 2008 at the Bristol Hospital. Suzanne was born in St. Zacharie, P.Q., Canada on December 16, 1944 and was a daughter of Julia (Rodrigue) Cloutier of Waterville, ME and the late Romeo Cloutier. She resided in New Britain for 11 years before moving to Bristol in 1976. Prior to retiring in 1998, she was employed at the Lee Spring Company, Bristol. She was a member of St. Joseph Church where she enjoyed bingo, and the Bristol Senior Center where she volunteered. In addition to her husband and mother, Suzanne is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Suzanne Roy of North Berwick, ME; two daughters, Lisa Marie Roy of Bristol and Linda Marie Roy of New Britain; three brothers, Richard and Michael Cloutier both of Winslow, ME, Paul Andre Cloutier of Fairfield, ME; two sisters, Claudette Cyr of Southington and Francoise Dulac of St. George, P.Q., Canada; three grandchildren, Genevieve Suzanne, Zacharie Joseph, and Andre Daniel Roy; two brother-in-laws, Richard Roy of Constable, NY and Roy L. Roy of Brunswick, ME; a sister-in-law, Georgine Davis of Clinton, ME; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Renald Cloutier, a sister, Lise LaChance, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ludger and Aurore (Ayotte) Roy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 10:30 A.M. from Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Joseph Church, Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 6 P.M.
