ZAVALICK, Shirley P. (Thibodeau)

Shirley P. (Thibodeau) Zavalick, 72, of Bristol, widow of Walter Z. Zavalick, died Friday December 5, 2008 at her home. Shirley was born in Caribou, ME on May 1, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Dennis and Laura (Baron) Thibodeau. She has resided in Bristol for the past 13 years and was a member of St. Gregory Church, Bristol. Shirley is survived by a stepson and his wife, Jeffrey and Barbara Zavalick of Bristol; two stepdaughters, Michelle and her husband Robert Weeks of Colbert, GA and Sandra Poole of Unionville; a brother, Thomas Thibodeau of Kensington; two sisters, Betty Petraniuk of New Britain and Rita Picard of Berlin; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Leola Ouellette, Leonie Gagnon, Verlie Ouellette, and Marie Baron.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, 10 A.M. from Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Gregory Church, Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M.
