ROY, Elizabeth (Das)

Elizabeth (Das) Roy, 43, of Bristol, wife of Surendronath Roy, died on Sunday (November 30, 2008) at Bristol Hospital. Elizabeth was born on January 29, 1965 in Bangladesh and was a daughter of the late Bhobando and Rozobala Das. She lived in Bangladesh for most of her life before moving to the United States. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Philip, Subro, and Santo Roy all of Bristol; two sisters, Angela Bernadino-Ahmad of Bristol, and Dorothy Roy of Bangladesh; two brothers, Andriash Donesh Das and Cornelius Onesh Das of Bangladesh; two step brothers, Joseph Das of Italy, and Jogesh Das of Bangladesh; and several brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (December 4, 2008) at 11:15 AM at St. Anthony Church, School St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
