RENAUD, Marie A. (Vasalavage)

Marie A. (Vasalavage) Renaud, 74, of Terryville, wife of Robert A. Renaud, died Saturday at Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Renaud was born June 17, 1934, in Bristol. She was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Anna (Gnitzcavich) Vasalavage and had been a resident of Terryville for 50 years. Before her retirement she was a registered nurse for the Nursing Care Center of Bristol, now The Pines of Bristol. Marie was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Charles Andersen of West Palm Beach, Fla., Celeste and Brian Coggins of Burlington; her sister, Frances Girouard of Terryville and her grandchildren, Joshua Kobles, Justin Coggins, Caraline Coggins and Melina Andersen. Private funeral services will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. (www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com)
